Synopsis: We will review the fundamentals of fracking, including natural gas well and pipeline safety engineering problems, biological toxicity of fracking chemicals, environmental impacts on air, land and water quality, occupational health and safety hazards, the broad range of pollution, seismic activity, threats to agriculture and animal husbandry, climate change, as well as the economic, social, political, and public health aspects of fracking. Finally, we will discuss effective detoxification methods, and protective, nutritional therapy.
